|  113 AL-FALAQ - DAWN In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn[1] from the mischief of all that He has
created;[2] and from the mischief of darkness when it overspreads;[3] from the
mischief of those who blow on knots (black magic);[4] and from the mischief of the
envier when he envies.[5 112 AL-IKHLAS - SINCERITY In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Say: He is Allah the One and Only;[1] Allah is the Self-Sufficient (independent of all,
while all are dependent on Him);[2] He begets not, nor is He begotten;[3] And there
is none comparable to Him.[4 ] 111 AL-LAHAB - THE FLAME [ In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab! And perish he![1] His wealth and whatever he
earned did not avail him anything.[2] Soon he shall be burnt in a flaming fire (a pun
on the meaning of Abu Lahab, "father of flames"),[3] and his wife, the carrier of
crackling fire wood,[4] shall have a rope of palm-leaf fibre around her neck.[5 110 AN-NASR - DIVINE AID In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
SECTION: 1
When there comes the help of Allah and the victory,[1] you see the people entering
Allah's religion (Islam) in multitudes.[2] So glorify your Lord with His praises, and
pray for His forgiveness: surely He is ever ready to accept repentance.[3 ] 109 AL-KAFIRUN - THE INFIDELS In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Say: O infidels![1] I worship not that which you worship,[2] nor will you worship that
which I worship.[3] I shall never worship those gods whom you worship,[4] nor it
appears will you ever worship Allah, whom I worship.[5] to you be your religion, and
to me mine.[6] | |
